Company Profile: Galaxy Food Ingredients is a partnership founded by two food technologists both educated in the United States. Our office in Perrysburg, Ohio is our base where we maintain close contact with our customers in the USA. Our associate company, Agroturk Foods, is located in Istanbul, Turkey, where relations with suppliers are handled.
Over the years we have developed a wide network of food processors and suppliers in Turkey and the rest of the Eastern Mediterranean. Many of our suppliers are significant exporters themselves.
Description: Why work with a company like Galaxy Food Ingredients when an international buyer can deal directly with food processors in the source countries? This certainly is an option if the targeted processor has a dedicated export department to deal with special requirements of the overseas clients. In practice, however, many of the local processors that do produce excellent quality products are not experts in exports and do not maintain highly trained international customer representatives. Therefore, American or other international buyers have little flexibility in negotiating special requirements with such processors. That is where we shine by offering the ability to deal face to face with the processor/supplier on behalf of the buyer. .
